Welcome to the Student Council of the South African Society for Bioinformatics (SASBi):
SASBi is a national association, conscious of its African and international context as it seeks to promote the discipline of bioinformatics in all its facets, locally, regionally and internationally. It is committed to excellence in the learning, teaching and research of the discipline and will strive to explore the applications of bioinformatics and computational biology in addressing the needs of the South African society.
Student Council Aims and Objectives
Education and InternshipsPromote educational initiatives among Students in Bioinformatics in South Africa. Provide a forum where South African students in computational biology and bioinformatics will be able to freely voice their opinions on education issues.

FundraisingRaise funds/apply for funding to be able to support the activities and growth of the Student Council/group.
